Men’s English Braces in Stunning Red Boxcloth. Albert Thurston has been supplying fine accessories for gentlemen since 1820.
Boxcloth, sometimes called ‘buckskin’, was the ultimate fabric for keeping out the cold in the 19th century. Since then it has continued to be woven in Yorkshire, England then finished by being shrunk to half it’s original width, which tightens up the cloth allowing it also to be used for making the ultimate classic brace made up in the traditional way with covered ends and white hand stitched leather tabs. The fittings are hand polished brass. Supplied with 6 individual buttons. Braces are measured from the waistband, over the shoulder to where they attach at the back of the trouser.
Medium are 40”/100cms, Large are 44”/110cms”, and X Large are 46”/115cms
